The Pennsylvania Dutch Council is teaming up with the Lancaster Barnstormers to bring you a great evening of baseball and a fun way to encourage new boys and their families to join your pack this spring! On June 1st, the Lancaster Barnstormers are inviting local Scout packs, troops, and crews and their families to spend the night in Clipper Magazine Stadium’s outfield! As a participant you will enjoy a night under the stars with your scout unit and your family and have a once in a lifetime chance to have a massive sleepover in a professional ballpark!
If you have been to a Barnstormers Scout Night in the past, you will be happy to know that it is going to be even more fun than what you might be used to. To see all the great new features this year you can download our Barnstormers Flier below and an Order form to make sure that your seats are reserved for the evening.
If you have any questions as you are going through the process please don’t hesitate to contact your District Coach or your District Executive. We are excited to have you as a part of this event and look forward to seeing you at the ballpark!

Calling all Cub Scouts! Don’t miss the opportunity to earn three Belt Loops in one day. Stations will be set up throughout the Museum with fun hands-on activities designed to meet the requirements. The Museum gift shop also has minerals for sale – most for under $5 – great for starting or adding to a collection needed for the Collecting Belt Loop. Join us and get your son excited about both scouting and science! Scouts must be accompanied by an adult.
The day will also feature local North Museum Science Fair winners. Cub Scouts will have the opportunity to talk with the winners as they will share with the scouts the way they use the scientific method in their research. Plus there will be a special feature of Music in the Museum with Tammi Hessen and African Drumming at 4 PM in the planetarium!
