The Pennsylvania Dutch Council is excited to announce our 2026 Spring Recruitment Incentive, Refer-A-Scout! This incentive is designed to help get families more involved in recruitment and benefit by participating.

How it Works:

• A family/Scout recruits a new member
• New member must be fully registered and paid to qualify
• The recruiting family will get 50% off of ONE of their next program fees
• The new member family, once registered, can participate and get a discount off one of their next program fees
• If a family recruits multiple new members, the discount is stackable and can be used for multiple Scouts or adults (maximum of 100% off for one registration fee)

Benefits:

• Families and units benefit from family involvement in recruiting
• Supports retention by incentivizing families to stay so t hey can cash in on  their discount

 

In order to qualify for the incentive, a Refer-A-Scout Approval Form must be filled out and submitted.

Additional Rules and Information:

1. The recruitment period is from April 1st to July 31st, 2026. The recruited Scout must be fully paid within that time frame to qualify for the incentive.
2. Recruited Scout must be within the Pennsylvania Dutch Council.
3. The deadline for form submission is August 31st, 2026. Forms can be mailed, emailed, dropped off at the Council office, or given to your District Executive.
4. Credit/Voucher will be emailed/sent starting in August.
