Dear Fellow Scouters,

Over the course of the past 24 hours or so, many of us have received an email communication from a sender named “Omni Advantage Solutions”. This email shares a message from BSA President/CEO Roger Mosby that states in part, “The Notice of Commencement simply informs you that the national organization has started a Chapter 11 case.”

This email is from a safe sender. Omni Advantage Solutions is a firm that is supporting the BSA in administrative aspects of the bankruptcy case, including communications. They are managing the restructuring website www.bsarestructuring.org . If you have any concerns about the email your received or any other aspect of the restructuring, feel free to contact restructuring@scouting.org

It is important to remember that Scouting continues and our programs are safer than ever. Additionally, only the national organization is included in the filing. The Pennsylvania Dutch Council which provides programming, financial, facility and administrative support to Scouting units in our communities – is legally separate, distinct and financially independent from the national organization.
