The Pennsylvania Dutch Council is excited to welcome our Scouts back to Camp Mack and Bashore Scout Reservation. As Lebanon County moves to the green phase on July 3, we will be reopening our camps to short term camping.
Camp Mack and Bashore Scout Reservation will reopen July 10 for tent camping
Units can make reservations in Tentaroo.
Units will need to check in with the Campmaster before going to their campsite and provide a roster of all participants. This roster must include contact information for all participants. Additionally, unit leaders will be responsible for collecting the pre-event medical screening checklist for each participant, which includes a temperature check taken just before departure. This screening must be completed before arriving at camp. Participants that do not pass the screening must remain home. The check in process at camp will include a review of these checklists, with the unit retaining the forms afterward.
All units must follow Boy Scouts of America, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and Centers for Disease Control guidelines while at camp. These guidelines include, but are not limited to, temperature below 100.4 degrees, observing good hand hygiene, social distancing, wearing of face coverings, sanitation, and cleaning of your campsite.
All campers are required to review the following guidelines:
All buildings and shower facilities at the camps remain closed indefinitely, due to cleaning and sanitation requirements. Stays longer than three nights will not be permitted. No cabins will be available for rental. Participants will be responsible to provide all their own camping equipment. Units are to stay together and not to mix with other units to help minimize the possible spread of COVID-19 in camp settings. Units are to travel through camp as a group.
All camp program areas will be closed unless a specialty program is scheduled. Fishing and hiking are permitted.
